Biography:
ARENA FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE
Witczak is entering his fifth season in Arena Football and the AFL, and his third with the Rattlers. With the Rattlers in 2008, he was nearly perfect on extra points, making his first 10 of the season, finishing 15-for-16, and had a 53.76 kickoff average on 21 kicks with four touchbacks in three games before being injured for the season. With Nashville in 2007, Jason hit 103-of-112 PAT tries, good for seventh in the league at 92%, and went 4-of-13 in field goals for a total of 115 points on the season. He kicked a Kat record, and his career long, 57-yard field goal in the first week of the season. In 2006, Witczak joined the Kats in week seven and played in seven games. He finished the season connecting on 41-of-46 PAT attempts and went 4-of-11 on field goals, scoring 53 total points. He was perfect on extra point attempts in two games and missed only one in three games. Had one of his best games of the year in the Kats first round playoff game (5/21) against Chicago, where he went 3-of-4 on PAT’s and hit all four field goal tries, including a career best 43-yarder, which he later topped in 2007. In 2004, he played one game for the Rattlers, recording 3-of-5 PAT’s and 0-of-1 on field goals but was released after tearing his ACL on a kickoff.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Before joining the AFL, Witczak spent time in both the NFL and NFL Europe. In 2003, he played in 10 games in NFL Europe for the Barcelona Dragons, going 4-of-5 on field goals including a 50-yarder. He was allocated to the Dragons after signing with the Buffalo Bills on 1/24/03 and making 4-of-4 PATs. Jason came to the Bills after being released by the Tennessee Titans organization before the start of the 2002 season. Was previously allocated by the Titans to NFL Europe where he played in all 10 games for the Rhein Fire during 2002 season, hitting 3-of-8 field goals. Before being allocated, he played in the preseason with the 2002 Titans and saw action in two games, was 2-2 on extra points and 1-1 on field goals. Was re-signed by the Titans on 2/5/02 after being released by the team before the start of the 2001. In 2001, he saw action in three games and was 2-2 on extra points in the preseason. Witczak originally signed with the Titans as an un-drafted rookie on 7/28/01.

COLLEGE
Was named to the 2000 Football Gazette NCAA 1-AA All-American Team as a punter while at Southeast Missouri State. Punted 48 times for 1,983 yards and a nation-leading 41.3 yard average with 15 punts inside the 20 yard line. Connected on 5-9 field goals with a long of 44. Played junior and sophomore seasons at Marshall University. Was the long distance field goal kicker making a long of 46 yards.

PROFESSIONAL GOLF
Witczak is a professional golfer and has competed in numerous Mini-Tour events and PGA Section events. In 2004, won the Titleist/Foot Joy Assistant Pro Championship, In October 2005 qualified and played in the Taylor-Made/Adidas National Assistant PGA Championship and in 2006 made it to round five of seven in the REMAX World Long-Driving Championships. He competed in the Remax World Long Drive in 2007 and finished 13th in the World hitting the second longest drive in competition at 404 yards. Witczak also finished 2nd in the World Long Drive Mile High Shootout in Denver, CO with a drive of 423 yards. In September 2009, he was selected to compete on the Horse Power Tee Shot Tour Team which was nationally televised on FOX. Witczak is also a certified Class A PGA professional who has taught regularly in Arizona since 2003. He is currently a golf instructor at Adobe Dam Family Golf Center in Glendale, AZ. HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL
Witczak was a multiple sport star at Horace Mann High in North Fond Du Lac, WI, lettering in football, basketball, golf, and cross-country. Earned 1st team all-conference honors at four different positions senior year: wide receiver, safety, punter and kicker. In golf, won the Wisconsin State Best Ball Tournament in 2000 after being runner-up previous year.
