PROFESSIONAL
Aric Williams is entering his second season in the AFL, his first with the Rattlers.  Last year, Williams played for the AFL Philadelphia Soul, starting three games and playing in four.  He had 16 tackles and one fumble recovery for the Soul.  He was signed by the NFL’s Washington Redskins (1/12/06), and was released on August 28^th.  Originally signed by the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL as an undrafted rookie free-agent in 2005, but was released in September.

COLLEGE
A two-year starter at Oregon State University, Aric was named second-team All Conference as a senior 2004.  He was second on the team and 12^th in the nation with five interceptions, fifth on the team with 56 tackles, and had 4.5 tackles for loss.  He had one sack, 14 passes broken up, and recovered a fumble.  As a junior in 2003, Aric finished third on the team with 4 interceptions, had 39 tackles, and 12 passes broken up.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL
Williams was born on March 31, 1982 in Los Angeles, California where he graduated high school in 2000.  He is the cousin of UCLA standout and NFL veteren Shaun Williams.  His favorite athlete is Deion Sanders.  He substitute teaches and coaches high school football in his spare time when he’s not working out.  Enjoys watching football and track and field.  Favorite bands are Aerosmith and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
