PHOENIX –The six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers announced today that they have signed running back Juwan Lewis for the Indoor Football League 2020 season.
RB Lewis (5’11, 225, Eastern Michigan) is entering his second year in the IFL, his first with the Rattlers. Last season, Lewis spent time last season with the Quad City Steamwheelers and the Bismarck Bucks. In 2018, Lewis played for the Duke City Gladiators, averaging 4.0 yards-per-carry and finished with a team-best 188 yards, and four touchdowns. He helped lead the team to their first ever championship (Champions Indoor Football).
Lewis attended Eastern Michigan University where he averaged 4.0 yards per rush, and was awarded the Hammer Award from the team in 2014. He also returned kicks for the Eagles.
The Muskegon, Michigan native attended Muskegon High School, where he earned first team all-state, all-area and all-conference honors for the Big Reds. Lewis ran for 20 touchdowns and 1,468 yards during his senior season averaging 7.1 yards a rush.
