Phoenix, Ariz. – The Arizona Rattlers announced Wednesday that they have signed defensive back James Calhoun for the 2018 season of the Indoor Football League (IFL).
Last season, Calhoun was named to the first team All-IFL team after leading the league in interceptions for the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles with nine. Calhoun was a big part of the Screaming Eagles special teams, gaining 277 yards and a touchdown on kickoffs.
Calhoun attended Riverside City College, where he was selected as a first-team defensive back and a second-team all-purpose player on the 2009 National Division Central Conference football team.
The Riverside, California native attended John W. North High School, where he played on both offense and defense, as well as returning punts for the Huskies.
