Virgil Gray, 26, spent the 2010 season with the Milwaukee Iron, where he earned Riddell Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Iowa in week three. Against the Barnstormers, Gray posted a 49-yard interception return for a touchdown in addition to leading the Iron with 6.5 tackles.
A veteran to Arena Football, Gray received Defensive Player of the Week honors in the semi-final round of the 2009 playoffs with the Spokane Shock. As a rookie with the ArenaFootball2 Lubbock Renegades, Gray led the team with 85.5 tackles and eight interceptions.
Collegiality, Gray was named to the 2006 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second-Team following his senior season at the University of Rhode Island.
