MESA, Ariz. – The Arizona Rattlers and the 100 Club of Arizona are partnering up to support Public Safety Appreciation Night on Saturday, April 2nd at the US Airways Center, as the Rattlers take on the Orlando Predators at 7p.m.
The 100 Club of Arizona has been aiding firefighters, public safety officers and police officers and their families since 1965. The 100 Club provides financial and emotional support to families faced with tragedies including seriously injured or killed first responders. To date, the 100 Club has given more than five-million dollars in financial support to Arizona’s men and women who assist in the public safety of the state.
Police officers, fire fighters, and other public safety members from across the state will attend the game. Police and fire vehicles will also be on display in the US Airways Plaza. In addition to honoring our municipal protectors, the undefeated NFL Youth Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers will be scrimmaging at halftime.
The 100 Club of Arizona will be selling raffle tickets for a brand new Ford F-150 truck in the US Airways Plaza that will be raffled off at “Country Thunder 2011” in Florence, Ariz. The drawing will take place on Sunday, April 10th directly preceding Toby Keith’s performance. All of the proceeds from raffle ticket sales will be donated to the 100 Club of Arizona.
The Arizona Rattlers are currently 3-0 after winning their first road game of the season, 69-20, Monday (March 28) against the Tulsa Talons.
