Scottsdale, Ariz. – The Arizona Rattlers announce offensive lineman Chuck Curry will be joining the team for the 2014 Arena Football League (AFL) season. This will mark the first season in the AFL and with the Rattlers for Curry.
Offensive lineman Chuck Curry, 6 feet 5 inches and 330 pounds, played college football for the University of West Alabama, which is also Arizona Rattlers’ Head Coach Kevin Guy’s alma mater. Curry and Coach Guy were both included amongst Bleacher Report’s “Greatest University of West Alabama Football Players of All Time.”
In 2010, when Curry attended the University of West Alabama, he played for an offensive unit that accrued 4941 yards of total offense and scored 327 points.
The Rattlers announced four new players to the roster yesterday; defensive back Marquese Wheaton, defensive lineman Ikponmwosa Igbinosun, and offensive linemen Justin Wells and Joe Gibbs for the 2014 AFL season.
