A year that began with uncertainty in February and concluded with a championship in Sioux Falls in July was celebrated on Wednesday with another trophy to show off to fans and media at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The Rattlers brought back the United Bowl championship trophy, which had resided in Sioux Falls, S.D., for the past six seasons.
Behind the rest of the Indoor Football League after breaking away from the Arena Football League, the Rattlers quickly turned around their roster, learned new rules, changed schemes and upended the IFL dynasty with a brand of football embedded in coach and General Manager Kevin Guy‘s DNA – physical, smash mouth, relentless.
