MCCULLOUGH REJOINS RATTLERS

Mesa, AZ – The Arizona Rattlers announced that linebacker Kevin McCullough has been assigned to the team. This will mark McCullough’s third season with the Rattlers.
McCullough (6-2, 250, Cincinnati) recorded 49.5 tackles, one touchdown, four interceptions, four pass break-ups and one fumble recovery for Arizona during the 2012 regular season. He also tallied six tackles and one interception during the playoff run.
In 2011, McCullough started in 15 regular-season games for the Rattlers. He collected 65.5 tackles, three of which were for loss, three touchdowns, one sack, five interceptions, six pass break-ups and two fumble recoveries.
Prior to joining the Rattlers McCullough played for the Spokane Shock and Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz. In 2010, he registered 40 tackles, two INTs, and one TD for Oklahoma City.
In 2007, McCullough signed a free-agent contract with the New York Jets before he was released in training camp.
At Cincinnati, he was awarded first Team All Big-East Conference honors his senior season. He tallied 132 total tackles, two interceptions, and four fumble recoveries. McCullough was named First Team All-Big East as the team’s leading tackler (68) and leader in tackles.
The Arizona Rattlers are the 2012 ArenaBowl XXV World Champions and are proud members of the Arena Football League (AFL). ArenaBowl XXV marked the Rattlers seventh appearance in the AFL Championship Game where they have earned Arena Bowl titles in 1994, 1997 and 2012.
