Scottsdale, Ariz. – The Arizona Rattlers unveiled the team’s new look for its home and away uniforms, as well as updated logos during media day today (Wednesday, March 7) at US Airways Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
Both, the home and away, uniforms and helmets reflect the team’s original color scheme of teal, copper and black in addition to incorporating a “snake-skin” pattern on the sleeve and pant inset.
The helmets show the updated “R” logo and the new secondary “snake” logo. Since fans loved the copper helmets that the team wore from 1992 until the end of the 2010 season, the team has brought that back this year.
The new look of the team’s uniforms is just one of the ways Arizona Rattlers majority owner, Ron Shurts has been rebranding the team, incorporating a more cutting-edge and fresher look for the team.
“I want to bring back the excitement about the Arizona Rattlers that fans had in the ‘90s but focus on a fresh new look at the same time. The most important thing is to give fans something to be excited about this season and I think this is just the beginning of what’s in store this season,” said Shurts at Wednesday’s media day.
